Goal

Surround more territory than the computer on a 9×9 board (fast free online format). You play Black and move first; White gets 5.5 komi.

How to play

1. Enter a display name (free, no account).
2. Choose Easy / Normal / Hard — each has its own leaderboard.
3. Click an empty intersection to place a stone.
4. Surround opponent stones with no liberties to capture them.
5. Simple ko: you cannot immediately recapture the same single stone.
6. Click Pass when you want to end. Two passes in a row finish the game and score territory + stones + captures.

Difficulty

Scoring & leaderboards

Easy 10 · Normal 25 · Hard 50 points per win (plus a small speed bonus). Draws give 1 point.
